  • Veerya: Ushna.
  • Rasa: Kara.
  • Guna: Guru.

4. Uses:

  • It is stimulant, diuretic in small doses, when taken internally.
  • Galactagogue, emmenagogue, intestinal antiseptic, expectorant, antimalarial, antifilarial, antitubercular, anthelmintic by nature.
  • Good remedy for asthma.
  • It is aphrodisiac and tonic in proper doses.
  • Externally, antiseptic, rubefacient, counter-irritant and blistering.
