  • Rasa: Bitter, spicy and astringent.
  • Veerya: Ushna veerya.

4. Uses:

  • The nature of tuber is acrid, heating, anthemirtic, laxative, alexiteric and abortifacient.
  • It helps in ulcers.
  • This is a good remedy for leprosy, piles and abdominal pains.
  • It causes itch and thirst.
  • It removes intestinal worms.
