  • Rasa: Sweet and bitter.
  • Vipaka: Sweet.
  • Veerya: Seeta veerya.

4. Uses:

  • Good remedy for Parkinson’s disease, dropsy.
  • It is an aphrodisiac, improves vitality.
  • It is a Blood purifier.
  • Helpful for rheumatic patients.
  • It cures leucorrhoea, menorrhagia, spermatorrhoea.
  • Herb - anthelmintic, aphrodisiac, astringent, nervine, tonic, rejuvenate.
  • Seeds - antihelmintic, astringent, nervine tonic, and an aphrodisiac.
  • Root - nervine tonic, diuretic.
  • Hairs on the pods - irritant, powerful vermifuge.
  • A good remedy for facial paralysis nervous disorders, asthma, cough, stone in the bladder, ulcers, fevers, edema and elephantiasis.
